Rogue Trader Chaos Terminator Captain
While working on the latest chaos army installment, I found myself with some spare time waiting for two part epoxy resin (there appeared to be a shortage of the stuff on the Isle of Wight!) so I painted my first 40k model in about four years, a traitor terminator Captain.
He's been on the desk for a while now with the option of either painting him as a one off or the possibility of a traitor terminator squad in Word Bearer chapter colours. Plus, I've dug out a few chaos renegades out as well for a potential five man squad.
I've made a slight modification with the addition of a pair of skulls on spikes that have been in the bits box for several years and finally put to good use. I can't even remember what they're from. Anyone...?
The next step is to finish off the latest chaos army installment, which I'll be taking a break from subsequently and then decide whether to take on more traitor marines or embark on one my other projects I've got lined up.

This is lovely to see. I'm working on some old 40k stuff myself at the moment and it's inspiring to find such accomplished work.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Ed. That's very kind. Glad it's been an inspiration for what you're working on.
DeleteThat's a super rich red. Lovely. This is such a historic mini. I remember my older REALLY wanting it. We only ever had a regular trooper chaos terminator though.
ReplyDeleteThanks Dave! Yeah the red took a lot of work to get to that stage. I never bought him when he first came out, think I first got him off mail order in the mid 90's.
DeleteVery nice!
ReplyDeleteMany thanks!
DeleteBeautiful work beyond any comparison. A true classic came to life
ReplyDeleteMany thanks, Suber! I'm really pleased with how he turned out.
DeleteSuperb. Very nice indeed.
ReplyDeleteMuch appreciated, Kym. Thank you!
