Chaos Sorcerer Slargash the Defiler & Chaos Demon

 I thought it was high time I resumed my Chaos army; apart from some Chaos Knights earlier in the year, it has been over 10 years since any of them have seen any paint.

 Here is Slargash the Defiler; one of my all time favourites of the Chaos Sorcerers. His colour scheme is that of the character from Heroes for Dungeonquest which this figure was used for. Not very original I know but I always loved the colours they originally used for him.

Marienburg Warband Update

Next up in my slowly progressing Marienburger warband is sellsword Ludvig Kögel. I used a Talisman Swordsman for this character and, like the leader; another Aly Morrison figure. My aim is to have the entire warband made up of Aly Morrison sculpts; whether they be Citadel Fighter selections or from the Marauder range.

Confrontation Helmawr Leader

 I acquired this limited release gem recently and he's rapidly becoming one of my favourite figures of all time. Unfortunately his power axe was a bit miscast so I had to do a bit of work on it.
I am planning a Helmawr gang among many other projects so look out for more gangers making an appearance over the next few weeks.

I managed to do a repair job using milliput.

Several years ago I did make a start on a Rogue Trader Chaos Renegade army, of which one day I shall post some up on here but meantime I have knocked up a suitable army commander which is one of those figures that I have been meaning to get done for a long time. This could well pave the way for more renegades in the near future.

Marienburg Mordheim Warband Captain

 I've been toying around with a Mordheim warband for a while now and have finally got round to making a start on it. I decided for Marienburg so I could opt for a reasonably colourful scheme.

First up is Dieter von Drackenburg, Captain of the warband. Thanks to Jon Boyce, aka Axiom from Magpie and Old Lead for trading this great fig of the Marauder Empire series with me just a few days ago. Bet your Genestealer Magus isn't finished yet! :P

Citadel Dwarf Major Hero (White Dwarf Limited Edition figure)

 Okay so I know it's The White Dwarf figure but I see no problem with painting him up in whatever colours you like. He makes the ideal generic Dwarf Hero.

Years ago I painted an Elric figure as a Mordheim Warband leader. Perfectly acceptable in my opinion.
